Covid19 in UAE: List of Countries Ban Of Flights Are Not Restricted

As Omicron infections taper off after an initial spike, a number of countries are recalibrating their travel rules. In a major policy shift during covid19 in UAE, several countries have scrapped the pre-departure PCR test for inbound travellers. The easing of restrictions for fully-vaccinated travellers is seen as a boost to international travel.

Bahrain and the UK announced doing away with pre-departure COVID-19 tests for vaccinated travellers. They’re not the only ones. So did Sweden, Greece and Portugal and most Scandinavian countries. Others have announced plans to lift travel restrictions at a later date.

According to an official tweet, the UAE will resume all inbound flights for national and international carriers and transit passengers from Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Republic of the Congo, Republic of South Africa, Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia and Zimbabwe.

The people have a negative Covid-19 test obtained within 48 hours from the approved labs in their respective countries of departure and a Rapid-PCR test at the airports of departure. They must also take a PCR test upon arrival and adhere to all relevant precautionary and preventative measures.

Covid19 in UAE: Countries with Restricted Entry

The United Arab Emirates will lift a ban on transit passenger traffic from India, Pakistan, Nigeria and other countries. The restrictions on travel to UAE are still in place, those who have a valid residency permit and are fully vaccinated — at least 14 days prior to the travel — are included in the exempted category.

Covid19 In UAE: No Restrictions For Essential Workers

Those working in the medical, educational or government sectors in the Gulf Arab state, as well as those studying or completing medical treatment in the UAE, would be exempt from the vaccination requirement as would humanitarian cases.

A Travel Booking Engine can help you do way more than just passively accept bookings and payments online. The booking engine has evolved to the point that it has become a central hub for managing every aspect of your business, from marketing to distribution to operations.
